Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Orometa LLC FZ ("we", "us", "our") — a free zone company registered in Al Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, U.A.E., licence number 2528806.01, with its registered office at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. ("Company"). These Terms govern your access to and use of Mahjong Dubai, including the game, the community platform, and all related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in the country where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You must not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under any applicable law.

2. Your account

You can play many parts of the Service without signing in. If you choose to create an account, the information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Do not share your account with anyone else.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate any account that we believe has been used to break these Terms, to abuse other users, or to harm the Service.

3. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

Cheat, use bots, use unauthorised automation, exploit bugs, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage over other players.
Harass, threaten, impersonate, or discriminate against any other user.
Create multiple accounts to manipulate stats, leaderboards, or promotions.
Upload or share content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
Attempt to break, probe, or disrupt the Service or any other user's use of it.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service except to the extent we cannot lawfully prevent this.
Use the Service to gamble for real money or to stake anything of real-world value.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules. Serious or repeated violations can result in permanent termination without a refund.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some features of the Service are available only to paying subscribers. Pricing, billing cycle, and what each plan includes are shown at the point of purchase.

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf. You authorise us to charge your payment method for the amounts shown at checkout.
Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Taxes and currency conversion fees (if any) are your responsibility and may be added to the price shown.
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Virtual items and grants

The Service may grant you access to features, cosmetics, or in-game items as part of a subscription, promotion, or contest. These items:

Are licensed to you, not sold. You have no ownership interest in them.
Have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside the Service.
May be modified, suspended, or removed from the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes.

6. User content

If you post content to the Service — a profile picture, a display name, a message to another user, a community post, or feedback — you keep ownership of that content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and adapt that content solely to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for the legality of the content you post and for having the rights necessary to post it.

7. Intellectual property

All software, artwork, designs, trademarks, text, and other materials that make up the Service (other than your user content) are owned by or licensed to Orometa LLC FZ and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms.

"Mahjong Dubai" and our logos are our trademarks. You may not use them except to refer to the Service in a truthful way.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orometa LLC FZ and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orometa LLC FZ, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from your account settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if we believe you have broken these Terms, or if doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

13. Changes to the Service and to these Terms

We are actively developing the Service and may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice — for example, by posting an in-product notice or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated version means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied within the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict of law principles. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, U.A.E. for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking injunctive or similar urgent relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

15. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
