Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for a Mahjong Dubai subscription. It forms part of our Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Orometa LLC FZ, a free zone company licensed in Al Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, U.A.E. (licence 2528806.01).
In short. New subscribers get a 14-day cooling-off period for a full refund on their first paid plan. After that, subscriptions are non-refundable but you can cancel at any time and keep your benefits until the end of the current billing period.
1. Free to try
You never need to pay to play Mahjong Dubai. Public tables, AI opponents, and most features are free. You only pay if you choose to upgrade to a paid plan for additional features.
2. 14-day cooling-off for first subscriptions
If you are a new subscriber and this is your first paid Mahjong Dubai subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, for any reason. To do so:
- Email play@mahjongdubai.com from the email address linked to your account.
- Include the word "Refund" in the subject line.
- Tell us which plan you subscribed to and the approximate payment date.
We will process the refund to the original payment method within 14 days of confirming the request. Your subscription will be cancelled and any paid-tier access will end.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. Renewal charges are not refundable under the cooling-off clause above.
If you forgot to cancel and a renewal has just been charged, contact us within 7 days of the renewal date. We will review the request and, as a goodwill gesture, we may refund the renewal charge if the subscription has not been actively used since it renewed (for example, if you did not log in or play after the renewal date). Goodwill refunds are at our reasonable discretion.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your paid benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling does not by itself entitle you to a refund of the current period.
5. What is not refundable
- Subscriptions outside the 14-day cooling-off window, except as described under "Renewals" above.
- Virtual items, cosmetics, or in-game grants that have been consumed, applied, or used.
- Any purchase made after the account has been suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service.
- Third-party currency conversion or payment-processing fees charged by your bank or card provider.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe there is a problem with a charge, please contact us first — we will usually be able to resolve the issue within a few days. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute before contacting us may result in your account being suspended while we investigate with the card network. Chargebacks won in your favour may lead to account closure at our discretion.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence. If mandatory local law gives you stronger refund rights than those described here, those rights will apply.
